29th Sunday in Ordinary Time. October 18th 2020 Mission Sunday
Covid-19 Act Now! Given the resurgence of cases of Covid-19 we all need to renew our commitment to following the advice given by our public health experts. Consistent social distancing, hand and respiratory hygiene along with the wearing of face coverings are essential if we are to succeed in controlling infection. So too is self-isolating at the onset of any symptoms and immediate contact with your doctor. Our actions have a direct effect on our families, our friends and in particular those who are most vulnerable. It is important for the common good that we redouble our efforts to keep ourselves safe and to keep each other safe. It is a real and concrete expression of our Christian calling in these difficult days.
