Tommy Larkin’s GAA Club is presently finalising plans for events to celebrate the club’s 50th Anniversary. On Sat. 29th September a Mass in St Joseph’s Church Ballinakill at 5.30 p.m. followed by a BBQ and Race Night in Mc Cormack’s Curra will kick off celebrations. A Dinner Dance on 17th November in Meadow Court Hotel with the launch of the Club’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Booklet will be a memorable night for the Club and the Community. You are invited to let family and friends at home and abroad know about these events as there are many who have expressed an interest in renewing old friends, acquaintances and clubmates at these celebrations.

The East Galway Family History Society are holding their annual Galway Hospice coffee day in aid of Galway Hospice on Thursday 20th September at the Woodford Heritage Centre from 9am to 4pm. The Society would like to thank all who support and help out to make this event a success each year.
